Rangers coaches Michael Beale and Tom Culshaw given touchline bans
Rangers coaches Michael Beale and Tom Culshaw have been handed touchline bans but a disciplinary case against the club has been adjourned until a later date.
Rangers were due to learn their fate over two charges of failing to ensure players and staff conducted themselves in an orderly fashion, one relating to gestures made by Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent at Celtic Park, and the other for a touchline confrontation at Easter Road.
But the case will be decided later.
Steven Gerrard will be missing members of his backroom staff in the dugout in coming games, though, after Beale and Culshaw were suspended.
Technical coach Culshaw has been handed an immediate one-match touchline ban for his part in the Easter Road incident, plus a suspended one-game ban which will expire at the end of the season. Hibs assistant manager John Potter, who was also charged with misconduct, was censured.
Members of the Rangers bench had reacted angrily to a red-card challenge from Ryan Porteous on Borna Barisic.
First-team coach Beale has received an immediate three-game ban with another two matches suspended. He was shown a red card at Celtic Park after disputing a late red card for Morelos after the striker received a second yellow card for a dive in the penalty area.
Hibs have also been censured and given a suspended £1500 fine for the touchline incident after being handed the same charge as Rangers.
No new hearing date has been set to decide the charges against Rangers.
