Ludogorets parted with Lukoki
Ludogorets parted with Lukoki. The contract of the Congolese was terminated by mutual agreement, the club announced.
Striker Jodi Lukoki is no longer a footballer of the Bulgarian champion Ludogorets Razgrad, the Eagles headquarters officially announced. The contract of the 27-year-old player, which expired at the end of the season, was terminated by mutual agreement and he will return to the Netherlands.
Lukoki moved to Ludogorets in 2015 by transfer from Zwolle. He played a total of 151 playoff games, scoring 29 goals and 20 assists, and won four Premier League titles and twice the Bulgarian Super Cup.
„His contract with the champions has been terminated by mutual agreement and he will return to the Netherlands. The club thanks Lukoki for his work in Ludogorets and wishes him good luck in the future,“ Ludogorets wrote on social networks.
Lukoki performed strongly at the beginning of this campaign, but remained outside the team after the winter break. Last summer, he was persuaded to leave Razgrad, but did not reach a transfer.
