The new format of the Champions League will start with a spectacular match between Milan and Liverpool on the very first day of the tournament. This is understood from the program for the main phase of the most prestigious club competition in Europe.
The match will take place on September 17 at 22:00 Bulgarian time. Meanwhile, reigning champions Real Madrid will begin their title defense against Stuttgart at the Santiago
Bernabeu Stadium.

Earlier that day, at 19:45, Young Boys host Aston Villa, while Juventus take on PSV Eindhoven in Turin, looking to get their campaign off to a flying start.
On Wednesday, Manchester City, the winner of the 2023 tournament, will host Italian champions Inter. On Thursday, Barcelona and Arsenal will visit Monaco and Atalanta, respectively.
This year, for the first time, there will also be matches on Thursday. The main phase of the tournament will last until January 29, 2025, and the final will be held on May 31 at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
