Alexander Usyk – Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua predicts the outcome of the highly anticipated heavyweight rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. According to the former champion, Usyk will again show his skills and dominate Fury when the two face each other for the second time.
The long-awaited fight is scheduled for December 21, when
Fury will seek revenge against the undefeated Ukrainian. In their first meeting, which took place in May, the Briton started strongly, but Usyk controlled the second half of the match and eventually took the win.
Joshua believes the upcoming clash will play out in a similar fashion, again banking on Usyk’s class to tip the scales in his favour. „I expect a close fight early on, but I feel Usyk will get the upper hand again,“ Joshua said in an interview with Queensberry Promotions. „He’s a world class fighter and that’s why I think he’s going to win.“
Interest in the fight continues to grow, with Saudi Arabia expected to stage an impressive gala night with star names such as Francis Nganu, Derek Chisora and a potential clash between Joshua and Deontay Wilder. Certainly, however, the focus will be on the rematch between Usyk and Fury, which promises to offer a spectacular boxing spectacle.
Fury’s sought-after apology from Usyk remains one of the few unknowns in the negotiations, but fans can’t wait to see who will emerge victorious in the ring this winter.
