Euro Paper Talk: Real Madrid set to end interest in Man Utd goalkeeper David De Gea
The summer is nearly upon us, despite what the weather may suggest, and clubs are starting to put actions into place and transfers into motion.

Spain
Real Madrid won’t be moving for Manchester United keeper David de Gea this summer. It is believed the Spanish and European champions are no longer keen on making a deal and will end there interest in the Spanish goalkeeper. (Marca)
Real Madrid have not given up hope on signing Arsenal transfer target Kylian Mbappe. However, to make space for the young French striker, Manchester United transfer target Gareth Bale would have to leave. According to Zinedine Zidane, his arrival would affect Bale more than Karim Benzema. Los Blancos would be willing to wait to 2018 to land their man. (Marca)
Diego Costa reportedly received a text message from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte while on international duty saying he won’t be counting on the Spanish international for next season. Costa admits he is now looking for a new club. A move back to Atletico would be preferable but no football for four or five months due to their transfer ban would be complicated. (AS)
Atletico Madrid have not given up hope on signing Arsenal transfer target Alexandre Lacazette this summer. The player still wants to join but the deal still needs to be finalised with all parties. Rather than stay with Lyon until January, Lacazette could move to Spain as soon as possible, learning the language and settling in before being allowed to play in January. (AS)
Germany
Bayern Munich are ready to match Alexis Sánchez’s wage demands this summer. The German champions are willing to pay the Arsenal striker €25m-a-year (£21.7m). (Kicker)
German club Hertha Berlin have agreed a deal to sign Karim Rekik from Marseille. The former Manchester City youngster is out of favour in the south of France and is ready to rebuild his career in the Bundesliga. (Bild)
Marseille and West Ham United are competing with FC Koln for the signature of Toulouse striker Martin Braithwaite. The Danish forward scored 12 goals in 36 games in France last season and is contracted to Le Tefece until 2019. (Bild)
Italy
AC Milan have abandoned hopes of signing Manchester United transfer target Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. The Italian giants are now looking to make a deal with Torino for Andrea Belotti and are willing to pay €70m (£60.7m). But the Turin outfit have better offers from abroad. (Gazzetta dello Sport)
After signing his new deal, taking him to 2020, Juventus coach Max Allegri has his three potential signings in mind. Former Manchester City transfer target Steven N’Zonzi, Douglas Costa of Bayern Munich and Milan’s Mattia De Sciglio. (Gazzetta dello Sport)
Lazio have arranged a meeting with forward Keita Balde. They want the Everton transfer target, who is also attracting interest from Sevilla and Liverpool, to accept a €35m (£30.3m) move to Milan or sign a new deal. The 22-year-old’s contract ends in 2018 and Lazio don’t want to lose him for free. (Corriere dello Sport)
France
Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have a budget of €220m (£190.9m) to spend this summer. That does not include any more they will make from selling players and demonstrates the power the Parisian club will have in the transfer market. (Le Parisien)
Marseille will try and sign eight players this summer. A goalkeeper, two central defenders, a right-back, two midfielders and two strikers. It is understood that coach Rudi Garcia has the last word on who comes in, not sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta. (L’Equipe)
Portugal
Linked with a move to West Ham United and Manchester United, FC Porto have set their price for Algerian international Yacine Brahimi.
Although the midfielder has a release clause of €60m (£52m), the Portuguese club would be willing to accept offers of €30m (£26m), making a move to England more of a possibility this summer. (O Jogo)
