Liverpool defender Ibrahim Konate’s injury has not turned out to be serious, bringing relief to the club and its fans. After examinations, the player himself confirmed that he is fine and will soon return to the field.
The incident happened during the match against Brighton
when Konate fell heavily at the end of the first half and was forced to leave the pitch. At first there were concerns about seriousness
trauma to the shoulder or even a fracture, but subsequent medical examinations allayed these concerns. Konate himself shared a photo on social networks, with which he assured that he will be ready for the next game of the „Reds“.
The next clash for Liverpool is on Tuesday when the team will face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
