Ludogorets is preparing for another significant transfer before the window closes in Bulgaria
Ludogorets is preparing for another significant transfer before the window closes in Bulgaria on September 2. The champions are set to sign Eric Marcus from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama. According to Brazilian media, the 20-year-old winger will join Ludogorets on loan, with the deal including an option to buy. In the contract between Ludogorets and Vasco da Gama, a clause is provided that gives
the Razgrad club the right to fully buy out the rights of Eric Markus for the sum of 1.8 million euros. For the one-year lease, Ludogorets will pay 150,000 dollars to the Brazilian giant.
Originally, about two weeks ago, Eric Markus rejected Ludogorets’ offer due to a disagreement over financial terms. However, it appears the young talent has now accepted the champions’ new offer, according to sources in Brazil. The winger has made 9 appearances for Vasco da Gama’s side this season, demonstrating his potential on the pitch.
In addition to his success at club level, Erik Markus also has international experience, having played 4 games for Brazil’s youth national team. This transfer is expected to strengthen the offensive power of Ludogorets, as Markus will bring freshness and energy to the team. The attraction of the Brazilian talent is another proof of the ambitions of Ludogorets to continue dominating Bulgarian football and on the European stage.
