Coutinho is said to be at „rock bottom“ at Barcelona according to The Daily Express, having started only nine league games this season, and United are reportedly preparing to bid for the former Liverpool man.

The Daily Express also reports Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is a target for both United and Arsenal during January.

The 22-year-old reportedly has a £27m release clause in his deal with the Serie A side, but Italian outlet Il Messeggaro suggest he is in „no rush“ to leave Roma.
