European paper talk: Barcelona’s Rafinha says future is ‘open’

SPAIN
Reported Arsenal target Rafinha says his „future is open“ amid rumours that he will be used as a makeweight in Barcelona’s bid to sign Hector Bellerin.
The versatile attacking midfielder, who is still recovering from a knee injury, is also said to be interesting Italian champions Juventus.
„My future is open and only God knows what will happen,“ he told Marca. „I am a Barcelona player and the most important thing now is to recover from my knee injury and then you will see what happens. All I can say is that everything is open.“
Barcelona have until midnight tonight to complete the re-signing of Gerard Deulofeu. The Everton winger, who came through the Catalan club’s renowned youth academy, could be bought back for a fee of £10.5m due to a buy-back clause. The 23-year-old enjoyed positive form in Italy with AC Milan last season and supposedly interests new Barca manager Ernesto Valverde. (AS)
Swansea City target Roque Mesa could instead be on his way to Atletico Madrid. The playmaker had seemed on the verge of joining the Welsh club, however Atletico feel he would be the perfect addition to improve their central midfield options. (AS)
Inter Milan are looking to remodel their defence around Jose Gimenez. The new Nerazzurri boss Luciano Spalletti is keen to bring in defensive reinforcements and the Atletico Madrid centre-back could be on the hunt for more regular game time. (Diario AS)

Manchester City target Dani Alves has parted company with Juventus after the Italian side agreed to terminate his contract. Following this news, the likelihood of the Brazilian solving Pep Guardiola and City’s right-back problem has only increased. (Football Italia)
Tottenham Hotspur target Mariano Diaz is being coveted by Serie A club Sampdoria. The Italian side have joined the race for the Real Madrid striker and could offer around £5-6m to seal a deal for the player. (Calciomercato)
GERMANY
Borussia Monchengladbach are interested in signing Tottenham’s second-choice striker Vincent Janssen. The Dutchman failed to truly settle during his debut season in the Premier League and the German outfit are ready to make an offer of £12.2m to try and secure his services. (Bild)

With Marco Verratti potentially joining Barcelona this summer, Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Monaco’s Fabinho. The French club see the Brazilian, who is also a Manchester United target, as a possibility to fill the central midfield void should Verratti depart. (L’Equipe)
