Everton boss Marco Silva insists he has the backing of Farhad Moshiri after one-on-one talks with the owner during a two-week break from the Premier League.
Silva’s team have been on an alarming run of results since the end of November, winning just three and losing nine of their last 14 league matches, including three successive defeats in their last three.

„I am the first one to understand about the results, but we are talking about the present and the future also, and he also passed to me and our players the confidence he has in our work and the players we have. And also, like me, he believes we can achieve the results in the next games.
„Since I joined the club I felt all the support of our board, our owner, the chairman also – and nothing changed. All the managers they have to show results and show why the club signed with him. To show the project, to show the idea, but in the end the main thing will be the results. I don’t have any doubt about that.“
